TELL US ABOUT YOUR CAREER HISTORY AND THE COMPETENCIES THAT ENABLED YOU TO BE ENTITLED IN THE CURRENT OCCUPATION?
I have been working in the luxury hospitality field for over three decades, two of which were spent serving at Jaz Hotel Group and Steigenberger hotels and resorts. My burning passion and desire
to climb the career ladder all way to the top was one of the main reasons why I explored a range of hospitality pillars and roles – from front office, rooms division, and food and beverage, to management. My long-term career also included positions at reputable hotel chains, including Sheraton, Mövenpick, Le Meridian, and Iberotel.
I believe that my organizational skills, communications skills, friendly attitude with the team, and varied expertise are the main factors that helped me reach this position. When one is close to his team and have the ability to communicate thoroughly with them, only then that the goals will be reached.​

 

FROM YOUR POINT OF VIEW, WHAT ARE THE NEEDED COMPETENCIES TO BOOM THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY IN EGYPT?
This could be narrowed down the following points: quality products that compete with international standards; friendly service with helpful attitude; and hygienic kitchens that produce healthy fresh food.
